After 5k PR and obtaining your Class Gem, it's all about stacking the right stats for damage.
Prioritize obtaining as much Critical Damage (CD) as you can, but also to balance it with Physical Damage (PD), 100% Critical Hit (CH) will be obtained pretty easily as long as the stat is on your Gems (Shadow Hunter has innate 40% CH to begin with at lvl 30).

Guide was released before Sub-Class was a thing. Go with Lunar Lancer.

Man I am too focused on damage I have like 30k physical damage at 6k pr but only 70k health which is impossible to play with at uber 8 worlds (5kPR)

Is it because of my gems or equipment? (I think its my gems my enchanted water gem stellar ismy only max health enchanted gem and its only at level two...)

 

Would never run the sh like that...

I'm not sure about that Volatile Velocity gem. 

With the machinegun of a class gem you have, I'd rather go for Pyrodisc for farming.

I have pyrodisc instead of the snaring gem

 

And now for the sub-class ?

My only sugesstion would to have Cubic Curtain, Pyrodisc, or Explosive Epilogue as your Empowered gems (which is easier said than done) and instead of max health replace that with movement speed. Magic Find is useless without a Patron Pass and even more useless for starting players with so many new dragons in the game. I wouldnt focus on magic find until you atleast get it over 2000 with a Patron Pass. I personally put jump on my rings and get as much crit and physical damage I can off of gear. I do keep one Max health percentage though but you want to get damaged with SH to take advantage of his DPS and the Martial Emblem.

Explosive epilogue is useless with the SH class since his class gem will allow SH to cause an enemy marked with shadow to explode when hit by SH.

Did they get rid of the 40% innate CH at level 30?

and where is the lesser gems?

why is volatile and Stunburst not Explosieve epilogue and stinging curse

I don't see the Critical Hit

It's achieved through gems so that you can squeeze in some jump and a bunch of movement speed on your actual gear.

Why not Explosive Epilogue instead of Volatile Velocity ?
